committed by a Crown servant by or through the mi mise of office. Both offences are so closely associated with corruption that it is considered necessary for them to be subject to the Commission's duty to investigate.

section 6 extends the time limit for a prosecution for a summary offence under section 138 ("False reports to officers") and section 13C ("Falsely pretending to be an officer, etc»").

section 7 creates a new section 17A which establishes a vel fare Fund for the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

Before the Covernor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Hajesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
