Further to my letter of 26 October, I now enclose copies of the press notice which we shall be placing in UK newspapers on 4 and 5 January.

We should be grateful if you would arrange to have the notice (suitably modified to advise applicants where to apply for application forms in Hong Kong) placed in your English and Chinese newspapers on the same dates, or as soon as possible thereafter. We should be glad to leave it to you to decide which newspapers should be used. such as those listed at paragraph 2 of the Registrar General! memo of 20 October enclosed with your letter SCR 2/5321/5. of 22 October to Patrick Williamson.
