Employment of illegal immigrants

I confirm that in accordance with your circular memorandum (18)1 in AP 341/13-C dated 23rd October 1980-

(a) all officers serving in my department (other than

those who have been absent from work since receipt of the circular memorandum) have been required to produce an approved identification document (i.e. one of the documents specified in section 17H of the Immigration Ordinance, Cap. 115) for inspection;

(b) the following serving officers have failed to produce

an approved identification document which renders them lawfully employable, and a report has been made to The Investigation Division of the Immigration Department -
