"Commissioner of Registration" means the

person appointed as the Commissioner

of Registration under the Registration

of Persons Ordinance;";

(c) in the definition of "United Kingdom belonger"

by deleting the full stop and substituting

a semicolon; and

(d) by inserting after the definition of "United

Kingdom belonger" the following definition

""Vietnamese refugee card" means a card

of identity issued by the Director

to a person who

(a)

was previously resident in

Vietnam; and

(b) is permitted to remain in Hong

Kong as a refugee pending his

resettlement elsewhere."

Addition of new Parts IVA and IVB.
