ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION FROM CHINA TO HONG KONG
1. It may be helpful for the Minister to have the attached graphs showing the position over the last 6 months, before discussing the question with the Governor of Hong Kong.
2.
3.
The three tables are as follows:
1. Monthly totals from December to June;
2. Weekly totals over the last 2 months;
3. Daily totals over the last month.
Obviously, tables of this sort cannot be conclusive. do nevertheless show that at the moment the figures are not rising and there are indications of a modest downward trend.
