Dismissal of appeal without hearing.

53B. Where an adjudicator upon an

examination of the written grounds of

appeal on which a person appealing under

section 53A seeks to rely, is satisfied

that the facts or matters on which the

appellant is seeking to rely are not

credible or are matters which would not

entitle the appellant to succeed in the

appeal, he may dismiss the appeal without

a hearing and in any such case he shall

cause written notice of such dismissal to

be given to the appellant and to the

Director of Immigration.

Appointment

of

adjudicators.

53C. (1) The Governor may appoint as

adjudicators such persons as from time to

time may be necessary for the purpose of

hearing and determining appeals under

section 53A.

(2) There shall be a chief

adjudicator, who shall be such adjudicator

as is for the time being appointed as such

by the Governor.
