I attach a self-explanatory letter from the Home Office to the FCO Parliamentary Clerk requesting information relating to legislation for which the FCO is responsible.

2. I have requested a list of such legislation from NTD's legal adviser but since the time factor given by the Home Office is critical I should be grateful if your department would make a start on the details requested in paragraphs 3 and 5 of the Home Office's letter for any Acts of Parliament or subordinate legislation for which your department is responsible. I will let you have a list of the relevant legislation as soon as it is available.

I should be grateful for your reply, including nil returns, by close of play on 3 November.
