Amend the Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council

thereof.

Short title.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Undesirable

Medical Advertisements (Amendment) Ordinance 1980.

Repeal and replacement of section 4.

(Cap. 231.)

2.

Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is

repealed and replaced by the following

"Prohibition of adverti- sements relating to abortion.

4. (1) Subject to subsection

(2), no person shall in any manner

write, print, or publish or cause to

be written, printed or published any

advertisement

(a) offering to procure the

miscarriage of women;

(b)

canvassing the procuration

of miscarriage of women;

(c) inviting or inducing the

procuration of miscarriage

of women; or
