1. Would you please refer to our telegram number Personal 7 to Hong Kong of 27 November about Spanish plans to accept refugees from Vietnam. As forecast the first batch of refugees arrived in Madrid on 20 December. The group consisted of 242 from Laos. Further groups are due to arrive in late January, February and March. We have no further information on how many of the refugees will be from Hong Kong than that contained in the telegram under reference.
