The Governor said that the visit by Governor Xi of Guangdong had gone well. The Chinese had said that they wanted to do everything possible to make Macau prosperous. He had just decided, but not yet announced, that Macau would pursue the idea of taking electricity from a new power station to be built in China. China had also increased the amount of water supplied to Macau starting the previous day.
