The

CAA's decision is not just a matter concerning two airlines, but the overall passenger and cargo freight services

between HK and Britain.

B. Caledonian Airways originally proposed to operate seven flights per week from April 1. But now, it has postponed the service to August, with the number of flights being cut to four per week until November. That means the proposed seating capacity will be cut from 50,900 to 12,480. It is a decrease of 38,480 seats. it a big problem?

Is

Because of close relations between HK and Britain, there is always a huge demand for air services. An acute cutback in plane seats will definitely worsen the supply situation.

We hope that the CAA will give deep reconsideration to

its decision for the mutual benefit of K and britain, It will be

very unwise for Britain to treat HK as a colony.
