I write on behalf of the walkers from the Ngok Yue Shan, Kung Lok Road area of Kwun Tong, who use the Road from the Jordan Valley Estate up the hill which is to be demolished, called CHUN WAH ROAD.

Many poor people take this short cut to and from work or school. are about to lose this road as from the Government Gazette, G.N. 2607 notice is given of the proposal to close this road.
On behalf of all those I write to object to this order for closure unless some alternative pathway is kept open. This right of way has been used for many years, especially since the development of Kwun Tong over the last ten to fifteen years.
May I suggest that the pathway across the Kung Lok Road Pleasure Garden and down beside the playgrounds above the Ngau Tau Kok Upper Estate be improved. The last time I walked that on my way to Block 5 I found the path very rough in places. It could become impassable in heavy rain and with increased pedestrian traffic.
