Students holding a valid school children's pass and

who attend Government approved schools shall be

entitled to subsidised travel to and from school only except on those routes specified in the Schedule of

Services.

Baggage and Goods Fares

(Regulation 21 of the Road Traffic (Public Omnibus, Public Light Bus and Public Car) Regulations)

(1) On any route, a passenger may carry free of charge a

package or packages of a total weight not exceeding

ten pounds and a total volume not exceeding three cubic feet so long as such package or packages may be safely or conveniently carried.

(2) On certain New Territories Rural Routes specified in

the Schedule of Services, accompanied luggage or goods may be carried upon payment of the following charges :- (a) for luggage or goods of a total weight not

exceeding fifty pounds or size not exceeding five and two-fifths cubic feet half the adult single

fare in respect of the route or section of the route on which the luggage or goods are carried; (b) for luggage or goods of a total weight exceeding

fifty pounds but not exceeding one hundred pounds the full adult single fare in respect

of the route or section of the route on which

the luggage or goods are carried.

(3) No additional charge shall be made in respect of one

bamboo or wooden pole not exceeding two and a half inches in diameter and five feet in length.

No passenger shall be accompanied by more than ten

pounds of fresh fish or of dried fish.

No goods of a dangerous or offensive nature or such

as would cause inconvenience or discomfort to passengers

shall be carried.
