(1) Sites for these depots are currently under discussion. (2) Although on average 15% of the fleet will be undergoing major maintenance, assume that the minimum would be 10%, hence 3,000 - 10% = 2,700 to be allocated to running depots.
(3) Total Sha Tin capacity is 475 space running depot plus 200
space maintenance depot, i.e. 675 spaces total.
(4) The above distribution differs slightly from 143 letter
Ref. 3461/79 due to the inclusion of a Teuen Wan depot for which a site has not yet been identified.
