Present Taxi Fares for Hong Kong and Kowloon,

Waiting Time

$2.50 for the

first mile and 50 cents for every 1/5

mile thereafter.

$1.50 for the

first mile and 30

cents for every 1/5

mile thereafter.

For every period of 2 minutes or part thereof during which the taxi is hired but not in motion

(i) Hong Kong and Kowloon Taxis

50 cents.

(ii) New Territories Taxis

30 cents.

Additional Fares

(i)

For every article of baggage carried in accordance with the provisions of regulation 30(1)(b)

50 cents.

(ii)

For every animal or bird carried in accordance with the provisions of regulation 33
