Explanatory Note

These regulations amend the Import (Radia-

tion) (Prohibition) Regulations by inserting 23 additional

elements, the radioactive isotopes of which can only be

imported under licence.

They also correct a

technical error in the previous list in that

Tritium, which was listed as an element, is

an isotope of Hydrogen.
