Amend the Aerial Ropeways (Safety) Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Aerial
Ropeways (Safety) (Amendment) Ordinance 1980.
Amendment of long title. (Cap. 211.)
2. The long title of the principal Ordinance is
amended by inserting after "maintenance of aerial
ropeways" the following

the avoidance of dangerous conduct in
relation thereto".
Amendment of section 2.
3. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended
(a) by inserting after the definition of
"Code" the following definition
(b)
""designated employee" means a person
designated by the Director under
section 23E;";
in the definition of "installation works"
by deleting the full stop and substituting
a semicolon; and
