Regulation 16 of the principal regulations is

amended by deleting "written".

Regulation 19(4) (a) of the principal regulations

is amended by deleting "written".

20.

7. Regulation 20 of the principal regulations is

amended by deleting paragraph (5) and substituting the

following

1:

(5) The owner of an aerial ropeway shall

ensure that a report of every examination required

under this regulation, prepared by the surveyor or

competent person making the examination, is sent

to the Director as soon as reasonably possible after

such examination is completed.".

Regulation 27 of the principal regulations is

amended by deleting paragraph (1) and substituting the

following

"(1) The controller on duty when an aerial

ropeway is in operation shall not operate the

ropeway unless sufficient of the ropeway's

communications systems are available to provide
