ECGD supported a £25.3m loan on 12 years terms, in 1970

ECGD supported a £72.5m loan on 10 years terms in 1977.

KORI 3 & 4

ECGD supported a US $92m loan on 15 years terms in 1976 (15 years credit conceded to match US competition)

KORI 7 & 8

ECGD offered to support 15 years credit to match the US offer but in the event the business was lost to the US in October 1979.

KORI 9 & 10

ECGD has as yet made no offer of support but it is understood

that the French have indicated a willingness to support 15 years credit.

ROMANIA

CERNAVODA POWER STATION

The Canadians, who have been approached in respect of the nuclear island have offered support for an 85% loan repayable over 20 years from date of commissioning. They have also indicated that they would provide the same terms for the electro mechanical supply if approached.

Presently ECGD, the French, the Germans, the Swiss, the US and latterly the Italians are all supporting a common line under which any support will be in respect of an 85% loan repayable over 10 years.
