generally in Hong Kong. Elected 1979.
Mrs Elsie Elliott CBE: School Supervisor. Regarded by many in Hong
Kong has the champion of the poor. Very critical of the establishment
and has led many, sometimes successful, campaigns against Government
policy. Most recently she was very actively involved in the movement
to get a Commission of Inquiry into the death of Police Inspector
MacLennan. Elected 1963.
Dr Denny Mong-hwa Huang: Medical practitioner.
Always critical of
Government but rather shallow.
Is prepared to give his opinion on
anything and does so.
Elected 1967.
Miss Maria Wai-chu Tam: Barrister, and probably the best prospect
among the young elected Urban Councillors.

Articulate and committed.
