2. This visit will be of considerable interest to the Press. A number of diplomatic correspondents may ask to travel with the Secretary of State if he has his own aircraft. The local press in all these countries will be active.

I and my PA, Miss Wheeler, will already be in New York for Lord Carrington's visit to the General Assembly. We should both go on with him for the rest of the tour.
