INVITATION TO MR BLAKER TO VISIT BANGLADESH
1. Mr McLaren's minute of 25 June. I would support the idea of a visit by Mr Blaker to Hong Kong early next year. It could be a very good opportunity to consolidate relations after the rather sticky patch we have been going through, although some contentious issues such as the Multi-Fibre Arrangement renegotiation will be very much alive.
