1. Sir Murray MacLehose, who has been spending the weekend in Scotland, has 'flu. He has therefore put off his return to Hong Kong, probably until the weekend.

2. He has also had to postpone his calls on Mr John Nott, Mr Adam Butler (DOI) and Sir James Crane (Home Office) all of which were fixed for the morning of 11 November. Sir Murray hopes to come down to London on Thursday and we will rearrange the calls that afternoon or Friday morning if possible.
