1) The constitment of Macau's revenue arę stipulated in the existing legislation

or in the legislations promulgated by the relevant legislation body.

2) The revenue of the Republic in the Macau region shall consist of the following :-

Taxes, revenue, or participation of work, business or grant as supported

or held itself responsible through undertaking by the Republic.

Interest and instalments of payment for loans accorded the region.

Article 59

The collection of revenue shall be restricted to such items as approved

by law and stipulated under items of the various Departments concerned in the

budget book, while exception shall be extended to other new items or new increase

approved later.

Article 60

1) The financial burden of the Republic for Macau shall consist of the following

a. The expenditure incurred by the Republic's various offices in Macau in

respect of the place used, the work done and super vision needed, and the

payment as undertaken for the locality by the Republic;

b. Subsidy in full or in part for sea or air transport organisations and the

operation of communications between other regions of the Republic and Macau;

Subsidy for expenditure of the regions security force.

d. Grants to the Oriental Catholic Mission and subsidies to recognized

Catholic missionary bodies, monasteries and recreation spots for their staff.

2) The financial burden of the Macau region shall mainly consist of the following:-

a. Interest, annual repayment of loan and other financial burden resulted

from contract or legislations.

b. Expenditure of its Government offices, including travelling expenses for

the staff, expenses for material used and other expenses in connection
