In accordance with the provisions of nos. 1 and 2 of article 6 of Constitutional Law no. 5/75 of 14th March, the Revolutionary Council decrees and I hereby promulgate the following to have the force of & Constitutional Law:

ORGANIC STATUTE OF MACAU

CHAPTER I

General Provisions

Article 1 The territory of Macao comprises the city of Santo Nome de Deus de Macau, and the Islands of Taipa and Coloane.

Article 2 The territory of Macao is a collective person in internal public law and, bearing in mind the principles provided for in the constitutional laws of the Portuguese Republic and in the present Dute, it enjoys administrative, economic, financial and legislative

1. The organs of sovereignty of the Republic, with exception of the courts, will be represented in the territory by the

3. Whenever international agreements or conventions are concluacu without the power mentioned in the previous paragraph being delegated, their application to the territory is subject to consultation with the territory's government bodies.

CHAPTER II

On the territory's government bodies

SECTION I- General Provisions

Article 4 The government bodies of the territory of Macao are the Government and the Legislative Assembly, and an Advisory Council which will be attached to the former.
