CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN THE DEPENDENT TERRITORIES

Problem

1.

The Prime Minister has requested a brief on HMG's position

on Capital Punishment in the Dependent Territories, following

representations made to her by MPs on their return from the

British Virgin Islands.

Recommendation

2. I recommend that the enclosed brief be passed to No 10.
