1. I am returning the draft answer with, as agreed, an additional paragraph on our general policy regarding independence for the Dependent Territories.

2. I have cleared the revised text on the Falkland Islands with SAMD. I have similarly cleared the changes to the text of the draft answer to Mr Brown's second PQ, on consultations with foreign powers.

3. That part of the draft answer to Mr Brown's first PQ which deals with Anguilla has been slightly amended, in consultation with WIAD, to take account of progress made on the Anguilla Bill.
