The Printing Department of the Hong Kong Government invites applications for appoint- ment as a Printing Superintendent (Training). The successful candidate will survey the department to identify the training needs, design and organize training courses, select staff for training and monitor their progress and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programmes. He will be appointed for only one agreement of 2 years and will also be responsible for training a local officer to succeed him.

Applicants must possess a London City & Guild Certificate or equivalent in either offset Lithography or Letterpress Printing

or Binding and Warehouse work plus at least 10 years' practical and supervisory experience in the printing industry or 5 years' teaching experience in printing.

The salary scale is from HK$7,300 to HK$10,000 per month (approximately £7,750-£10,620 p.a.*).
