PENSIONS: AVERAGING OF PENSIONABLE EMOLUMENTS

1. The CSD are not aware of any problems or repercussions following the change from "average of the last 3 years" to "whichever of the last 3 years gives the highest figure", in the assessing of pensionable pay in the UK Civil Service.

2. Reference your saving no. 156 of 27 June 1979 "Freezing of Pensions", Advice is awaited from CSD but HK and General Department and ODA will want to comment on the wider implications.
