Supplementary provision

14.

The new levels of salaries for the remainder of the financial year, together with net arrears, will be charged to departmental personal emoluments votes. Heads of departments are reminded that the approved provisions in these votes are limiting on expenditure. therefore re-calculate the total requirement under their personal emoluments

They should vote for the current year and apply for supplementary provision as necessary. Where the supplementary provision requested exceeds the approved provision by more than 7% full supporting details on GF 9 should be forwarded to the Finance Branch.
