If the Hong Kong authorities were still not awaken, causing

closing down of factories, unemployment of workers, inflation, unstability of

the society, public disorder, until it is unable to save the situation it will

be too late to repend on.

Dare to suggest to the authorities that prompt action should

be taken to actively contruct cheap factory buildings for sale or lease to

the industrialists, to benefit the industrialists by giving low-interest

loans, to accelerate the development of new industrial knowledge, training

of technicians, assisting the industrialists to expand new market, to enforce

co-operation between the officials and the common laymen democratically,

to save the situation by united efforts. This is utmost important.

To abolish the limit of 1280 sq.ft., and to restore the

previous limit of 5000 sq.ft. as prescribed by the

Resettlement Department.

To abolish the harsh rule of 4 times increase of rent

upon transfer or invitation for transfer.

To abolish the policy of the increase of rent by 56.25%

in 2 years, i.e., geometrical progression.

To restore the right of resettlement. To absolish all

additional vexatious regulations since 1974.
