I enclose copies of letters which we have received from two groups complaining about the Hong Kong Government's clearance and resettlement policy. One group, calling itself the Tsing Yi Lagoon Rights Against Clearance Temporary Committee, claims to represent fishermen of Tsing Yi Island in the New Territories; the other group is made up of factory owners. In both cases I should be most grateful if you could supply me with the necessary background information upon which to base a reply.
