Under all these unfavourable circumstances, fortunately we had the unreserved support of Dr. Shi Ying-yuen, who recommended us Miss Tam Wai-chu Marria and Mrs Elsie Elliott, Urban Councillors, who upheld justice. In addition, with the help of the United Nations Society, we held a solemn and righteous conference on 10th May, 1979 at which we voiced our grievances.
Now we can see a gleam of hope. We believe that, with the righteous support of Miss Tam and Mrs. Elliot, we will be united and fight to the last so that we humble flat-owners can lead a happy life.
