SPEECH
As regards the 10 children involved, I said in reply to the
Question asked by the Noble Lord, Lord Brockway on 12 February
that no charges were made against them. What I should h ve
said was that they were charged on 7 January but that no evidence
was offered against them when they appeared in court the following
day. I apologise for having misled the House, and others, on
this point.
