A native of Waichow, Your Petitioner was on or

about 17th March 1957 married to her husband, Mr. TANG

Ping Hoi (¥), in Waichow in accordance with the

laws of the People's Republic of China. Photocopies

of the following documents are annexed to this Petition,

namely:-

(a) Marriage Certificate issued by the authorities

in China marked "B".

(b) Memorandum in Chinese verifying the amendment

of your Petitioner's name on the Marriage

Certificate marked "C".

Your Petitioner is in possession of the original

documents which are available for inspection.

Your Petitioner's husband is a Hong Kong resident

having resided here since 1949; he holds a Hong Kong

Identity Card C015401, a photocopy whereof is annexed to

this Petition and marked "D". He runs a meat-stall under

the style of Ming Kee at Luen Wo Market, Fanling, New

Territories in partnership with another person.

Since her marriage in 1957, Your Petitioner

had made several unsuccessful attempts to obtain a visa

from the authorities in China to visit Hong Kong with

her children and it was not until the beginning of this

year that a visa was eventually issued to her. Your Petitioner

makes no pretence of the fact that the sole and real object
