I promised that we would prepare and a table and send it to Ni Walker by Tuesday evening 30 November, so that we could take account of the Octoberfigurs up to the 29th. Can

were available, so I gave him the figues in the table (+ the third column which I have added, with Hong Kong's estimate of the mumber of illegals who succeed & getting in), with the figues for October up to the

= 22nd. I promised that some one woulding him (on 233.7488) tomorrow as soon as the figures for last week arrived. I said that I thought a detailed breakdown of emigrants CODE16-17 was unavailable: he will therefore (unless you have found that
