A meeting was held in the Nationality and Treaty Department conference room at 3 pm on 23 May to discuss Home Office Paper NLR(79)6 of 12 February and the reactions of the dependent territories to the proposal for a British Overseas Citizenship to replace citizenship of the United Kingdom and Colonies.
