Situation
The Singapore Red Cross reports that they have been asked by the High Commissioner for Refugees to take over the disbursement system of daily allowances to the refugees. To cover this extra service, the Society had to hire some additional staff. Besides this, it has also created a nucleus to provide tracing services. They assist refugees with nursing care, food and clothing for children.
