General condition: There is overcrowding and

ventilation is poor as this is a factory building with small window areas. This was reported to the Housing Department when occupation first took place.

Cleanliness has not always been satisfactory, particularly on staircases but has improved lately. Personal hygiene is satisfactory. There are regular inspections by Health Inspectors and strict surveillance is maintained on fly breeding, particularly on the ground floor but this is under control. Regular

anti-flea measures are taken. Health education talks
