You asked on folio 1872 whether we needed to do anything further to follow-up on paragraph 17.

2. I do not believe that any follow-up action is necessary. There seems no doubt that it has been accepted that Hong Kong should have its share of places in the reception centre. This is borne out by paragraph 1(b) of the letter from UKMIS Geneva at folio 1778A and paragraph 2 of UNHCR's press release at folio 1855A.

3. I have discussed this with SEAD who concur.
