1.
I submit a draft Answer with Notes for Supplementaries and
Background Notes to the above PQ for oral Answer on 9 July by Lord Brockway. Lord Brockway is President of the Britain/Vietnam
Association which wrote to the Secretary of State on 11 June on
similar lines.
2. Submission of this Answer has been delayed due to pressure of
work in the Department. Parliamentary Unit have, however, agreed to extend their deadline until noon on 4 July.
