CONFERENCE ON INDO-CHINA REFUGEES, GENEVA, 20-21 JULY
1. You will have seen a copy of my preliminary minute of 4 July about the delegation going to Geneva. More details are now available.
Composition
2.
In addition to the Minister of State (Mr Blaker) and those listed in the first paragraph of my minute, one member of News Department will be in the delegation. There will also be a shorthand-typist from the FCO (requested by UKMIS Geneva). This will be my PA,
Miss S Holt.
3.
The Home Office will definitely include one official.
4. Mr Blaker has confirmed that one representative from the voluntary organisations will be included.

5. It is also possible that the Secretary of State will decide to attend part of the Conference, though this is still under consideration. If he does go, it will almost certainly be for the opening (20 July)
so you may have to take/account the appropriate team from Private Office, plus the Head of News Department, all in addition to the others.
