When he called on UND yesterday (my minute of 26 June to Mr Simons), Mr Kimball also asked us to pass to you the text of a State Department telegram (attached) conveying his Government's views on the use of the Security Council. He said this was not necessarily the last word from the State Department. He thought that the State Department's telegram had crossed with his to Washington reporting his recent conversation with Mr Murray.

Argentine Intake of Indo-China Refugees

Mr Kimball also handed over the attached extract from another State Department telegram about the Argentine Government's recent decision to receive 300 refugee families from South East Asia.
