1 should be gratedil ir tta George (Peking) would comment on the likely Chinese reaction to such a proposal and also if Keith MacInnes (UKMIS Geneva) would let us know by telogrom when UNICR get a reply from the Chinese to the points made to them by Hartling. Meanwhile, it would be premature to discuss this idea further with the State Department.
