deliberately unclear. I am often asked what HMG is doing about the situation. I think everybody is well aware of, and accepts, the reasons why the UK cannot take very large numbers of refugees from Vietnam. But I would find it very helpful to have guidance on what views you have formed, or are forming, on ways in which HMG could help Hong Kong diplomatically.
