On the instructions of Mr McLaren and with the concurrence of Mr Stimson of UND, I telephoned Mr Snoxell of UKMIS Geneva con- cerning Hong Kong telegram No 331, which is at folio 433. Mr Snoxell was not available so I spoke to a Mr Edith and conveyed to him the contents of telegrams Nos 330 and 331 in case copies of them had not been received in Geneva. I also said that we supported Hong Kong's view on the helpfulness of Mr De Haan's visiting Hong Kong.
