Mr Jack Ashley (Stoke on Trent South): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what further discussions he has had with the United Nations Commission on Refugees since last year's meeting.

The United Kingdom Permanent Representative in Geneva
has had several meetings with the United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees and his staff since the
meeting convened by the High Commissioner on the 11th
and 12th of December 1978, which my hon Friend the
Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth
Affairs [Mr Luard] attended.
