The Secretariat should examine the possibility of organizing a round-table or symposium on debt bondage, with the participation of experts, the specialized agencies and all concerned parts of the United Nations system, in order to study the problem in depth.

The Sub-Commission should bring a report of the Minority Rights Group on slavery-like practices against Aborigines in Australia to the attention of the Government of Australia for comment.

The Sub-Commission should bring a report of the Anti-Slavery Society for the Protection of luman Rights concerning migrant workers in the Dominican Republic to the attention of the Governments of Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the United States and to the attention of the Organization of African Statcs and the relevant United Nations specialized agencies for comment.

The Sub-Commission should bring reports on the exploitation of child labour in Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Portugal and Thailand, submitted to the Group at its session, to the attention of the Governments concerned for comment.

The Sub-Commission should include the question of the exploitation of child labour in its future programme of work and consider the possibility of undertaking a comprehensive study on the subject.

The Sub-Commission should condemn adoption practices based on financial considerations in disregard of the welfare of the children involved, and call for an immediate end to all such practices, in particular as they affect refugee children.

The Sub-Commission should strongly condemn the labour practices of the Government of South Africa, which constitutc a modern form of slavery, and investigate the various forms of cxploitation of children under apartheid.

The Sub-Commission should bring a report on the exploitation of child prostitution in Brazil to the attention of the Government of Brazil for

comment.

It should also bring the reports concerning abuses against women under the dowry system to the attention of the Government of India for comment.

The Secretariat should be authorized to approach INTERPOL concerning the possibility of obtaining more information on the question of traffic in persons, and of giving appropriate publicity to such information.
