4. AS REGARDS THE REST OF THE REGIONAL PACKAGE, WE ARE DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THE WIDE DISPARITY IN ROUTES AND IN CAPACITY. WE HOPE THAT FURTHER ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE BY THE DELEGATION TO SECURE A MORE EQUITABLE PACKAGE. WE PRESUME THAT FOR THE TWO REGIONAL ROUTES ON OFFER APART FROM HONG KONG/PEKING, THERE WILL BE A CLEAR UNDER- STANDING OF BALANCE IN CAPACITY. IS THERE ANY INDICATION SO FAR OF WHERE THE THIRD REGIONAL ROUTE WOULD BE LOCATED? IF HONG KONG/PEKING IS TO BE DENIED TO A REGIONAL CARRIER, THEN WE

WOULD LIKE ROGERS TO AIM FOR HONG KONG/TIENSIN AS THE OTHER ROUTE AND, OF COURSE, TO PRESS FOR ADDITIONAL ROUTES IF POSSIBLE. WE WOULD NOT REPEAT NOT CONSIDER HONG KONG/CANTON AS A WORTHWHILE POSSIBLITY.
