Hong Kong in this week's bag :-

whether it will be possible to negotiate a regional route to the UK/PRC ASA or whether arrangements governing scheduled services between Hong Kong and the PRC will have to be contained in a side letter, is an open question.

Grateful for advice on the points in China we should seek on such a route (presumably a quote points in China unquote formula, with the points unspecified, is not a practical option) and on whether we should also seek quote points beyond unquote.
